Fabrication Safety

Layfield Material's fabrication shops follow detailed safety procedures for all their manufacturing activity. Our fabrication plants typically weld rolls of geomembrane together to make large panels; however, we also sew tarpaulins, assemble silt fence, and manufacture components for floating covers.

 

All of our fabrication shops, in Edmonton, San Diego, and Toronto follow documented safety programs that include trainng, hazard identification, regular meetings, equipment maintenance, and periodic inspections. We monitor our safety performance every month at our management meetings.
